Cornerstone laid for the Hilton luxury hotel

Today the cornerstone was laid for the luxurious Hilton hotel at the corner of Kreutzwaldi Street in Tallinn. The building costing about 36 million Euros is scheduled to be finished at the end of 2015.
The cornerstone for the hotel and entertainment complex with 13 floors was laid today as one of the Day of Tallinn events by Armin Karu, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Olympic Entertainment Group, Edgar Savisaar, the Mayor of Tallinn, Jeffrey D. Levine, the U.S. ambassador to Estonia, Tim Ettelt, the Regional Manager of Hilton Worldwide and Toomas Annus, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the main contractor Merko Ehitus.
Hilton Worldwide will be the operator of the luxury hotel built by Olympic Entertainment Group. Merko Ehitus Eesti is the main contractor for the construction of the building costing nearly 36 million Euros.
The building with 13 floors was designed by architect Meelis Press and it will have the reception area of the hotel, the regional flagship casino, conference centre, a spa and a restaurant on the four lower floors, with rooms for accommodation on the upper floors.
